The M8 opens its roof.
The M8 Competition Convertible pairs the twin-turbo V8 with a folding fabric roof. It is a distinct body configuration from the F92 Coupé, so mass and acceleration should be compared in context.

Roof hardware and seals need checks alongside the powertrain.
The F91 roof is fabric, rather than a folding metal hardtop.
S63 · V8
The F91 M8 Competition combines a folding fabric roof with a 625 PS twin-turbo 4.4-litre V8. Its twin-turbo combustion powertrain develops 750 Nm.

Two exhaust-driven turbochargers
Exhaust energy turns a turbine connected to an intake-air compressor. Charge-air cooling reduces the heat added as the air is compressed. The displayed turbo count describes the selected engine.
M xDrive all-wheel drive
An eight-speed M Steptronic gearbox, M xDrive and an Active M Differential deliver the V8’s torque. The Convertible body has its own structure and weight compared with the M8 Coupé.
