The i4 M50 coordinates electrically excited synchronous drive units on both axles. Its Sport Boost peak reaches 400 kW and 795 Nm, combining electric all-wheel drive with the low roofline and tailgate of a Gran Coupé.

Coordinated front and rear electric motors
The i4 M50 coordinates electrically excited synchronous drive units on both axles. Its Sport Boost peak reaches 400 kW and 795 Nm, combining electric all-wheel drive with the low roofline and tailgate of a Gran Coupé.
80.7 kWh usable energy
The underfloor lithium-ion battery provides 80.7 kWh of usable energy in the selected specification. Usable capacity describes the driver-accessible operating window and differs from gross capacity.
Understand the peak figures
The displayed 400 kW and 795 Nm describe Sport Boost or Launch Control conditions. The temporary increase is limited in duration and should not be treated as a continuous motor rating. Individual motor peak outputs are not simply added.
Recover energy while slowing down
During deceleration, the drive motors can act as generators. Power electronics manage energy recovered into the high-voltage battery, while physical brakes provide additional stopping force.
