The V8 grows into the GTS.
The M3 GTS enlarges the S65 V8 and pairs it with a two-seat cabin and adjustable chassis and aero components. It has its own specification rather than the regular M3’s engine numbers.
A focused V8 special edition.
Its two-seat cabin and specialist hardware limit everyday flexibility.
The GTS uses a 4.4-litre V8 instead of the regular M3’s 4.0-litre version.
S65 · V8
The M3 GTS enlarges the S65 V8 from the standard M3’s 4.0 litres to 4.4 litres. The result is 450 PS and 440 Nm, combined with adjustable suspension, aerodynamic components and a two-seat cabin.
S65 V8 reference. The regular 4.0-litre M3 and 4.4-litre GTS are different revisions.

Naturally aspirated power
Air enters without a turbocharger. Cylinder capacity, valve timing and engine speed shape the engine’s torque delivery.
Rear-wheel drive
A seven-speed M dual-clutch transmission sends drive to the rear wheels. This limited-production GTS remains a road-car specification, distinct from M3 racing models.
